Welcome to Intricate Bay Lodge! We are excited to host you and provide an unforgettable Alaskan adventure. By booking with us and using our website (https://intricatebaylodge.org/), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a smooth experience for all our guests.

1. Booking and Payments

  1. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
  2. We will provisionally hold space for 14 days from the date of booking until deposits are received. After this period, we reserve the right to release unconfirmed bookings.
  3. The remaining balance (50%) is due 60 days before your scheduled arrival. You may also choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking.
  4. We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. If you need to cancel your reservation, we offer a 75% refund at any time. The remaining 25% covers administrative and logistical expenses that we incur in preparing for your trip.
  2. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another guest for the same package at no additional cost.

3. Travel and Liability

  1. At Intricate Bay Lodge, we are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience. Our team takes every precaution to ensure that your adventure is smooth and memorable.
  2. While we carefully plan each trip, factors such as weather conditions, flight schedules, or natural events may occasionally lead to minor itinerary adjustments. In such cases, we will always provide the best possible alternatives to ensure your satisfaction.
  3. We encourage guests to arrive with a flexible mindset and embrace the beauty of Alaska’s dynamic environment.
  4. To further protect your trip, we highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, which covers unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel delays.
  5. By booking with us, you acknowledge the inherent nature of outdoor adventures and trust our experienced team to provide a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience.

4. Lodge Policies

To ensure the best experience for all guests, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines during your stay:

  1. Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is available upon arrival, and check-out is scheduled based on departure flights.

  3. Smoking Policy: Smoking is allowed only in designated areas to maintain a comfortable atmosphere for all guests.
  4. Alcohol & Beverages: We provide a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the lodge, all included in your package.
